Become an independent cave diver.

The Full Cave Course marks the completion of the classic cave diving training program. Building on the fundamentals of the Intro to Cave course, you’ll learn how to safely plan, navigate, and dive independently in complex cave systems.

The focus is not on individual exercises, but on handling challenging situations safely. Navigation, teamwork, and decision-making are practiced in such a way that they function reliably even under stress.

Our training takes place at the Felicitas Mine — a unique underground environment featuring historic tunnels, large chambers, restricted areas, and an extensive network of ropes. Through our consistent one-on-one training, we can tailor the course to your specific skill level and learning pace

Who is this course intended for?

The Full Cave course is designed for divers who already have a Intro to Cave certification and want to expand their skills to the level of an independent cave diver.

The course can be taken with either open circuit (backmount or sidemount) or on a rebreather, provided the relevant prerequisites are met.

Course Duration

5 days

We recommend taking the course as a single, continuous program. However, upon request, it can also be structured flexibly over several weekends or in individual training blocks.

Requirements

Open Circuit

• Intro to Cave Certification or equivalent

• Confident and proficient use of the configuration in question

• Current Diving Fitness

• Valid Diving Insurance

Rebreather

In addition:

• Introduction to Cave CCR

• Procedure for the CCR system used

• Sufficient diving experience after completing the beginner's course
